Karyn at the Dinner Dance
On Thursday, November 10, BLACC members were invited to BC High’s Dinner Dance. Many other schools were also invited to join in the night’s festivities. There were opportunities for all to meet old and new friends for a night of fun. Ms. Fillion was the official chaperone for the event.
The dinner was pasta and salad, and many say it was a delicious meal. While everyone was eating I had the chance to catch up with my friends.
Activities of the night included a 50/50 raffle and a toga contest. The DJ was awesome! The music was great. It provided a mix of different types of contemporary music. The line dancing proved to be great fun. I haven’t done the Macarena in years!
The dim lighting on the dance floor encouraged lots of dancing as the night progressed. When the dance was over everyone gathered to take pictures and then we went on our way home to get a good night’s sleep after all that partying. Although the dance ended a little earlier than expected, it was still an experience that I will never forget.

Thursday Night at the Dinner Dance
On Thursday night, I went to the BC High Dinner Dance with Karyn Greene and Sean Stoddard. Once we got there, we ate. For dinner we were served pasta with tomato sauce along with salad and soda. The main course was followed by a dessert of ice cream sundaes. After eating, I slowly made my way to the dance floor. Many people danced, including Ms. Fillion! Yes folks, Ms. Fillion was out on the dance floor with her hubby. “They are so cute,” my fellow JCLers cooed. I danced with a BC High boy named Mike. Marie and Anthony Mathieu had fun dancing, too. But the real show stopper, or should I say starter, was Jared. He taught some BC High boys how to get their groove on, he started the dance circle to ‘Beat It’, and he acted like the total ladies man. The night wound down early but I still had fun.
