1:51 Meeting called to order by Reggie and Karyn.

1:51 Ms. Fillion brings up the topic why this year there are more officers than usual and also mentions that the board needs to talk about the tee- shirts and the jobs of the officers.

1:55 Ms. Fillion suggests that the new officers should come Monday and talk about their duties.

1:56 Each officer is talking back and forth deciding on what day they are going to meet.

1: 59 Ms. Fillion reminds new officers that they can not hold office if they do not have a classics class next year, and also new officers will be appointed by the board if someone has to go.

2:00 Reggie reminds officers that everyone should come to the meetings and it should be the first Friday of the month.

2:01 Reggie suggests that one person from that office needs to show up when the other one cannot. Each office should have a committee.

2:02 Jared wanders if he can have other officers to help him.

2:03 Ms. Fillion says “yes, you can, but you can not have anyone, you will need someone that actually does the job.”

2:04 The president says “how many absences should be allowed?” Everyone yells out “two”. In case of emergencies there will be exceptions to this rule.

2:06 Maria suggests that the officer should talk to someone if they are not going to show up for a meeting. Khoi wants to do an amendment about officers that do not do their jobs.

2:07 Reggie shouts “does anyone else has something to say about officers not doing their jobs?” Then he starts to talk about tee-shirts again.

2:08 Nick says “I know a place where they would do the tee-shirts and maybe we should also have a fund about this.”

2:09 Ms. Fillion really likes Artist for Humanity, at South Boston, because there is a former (bla) student who designs tee-shirts. We only pay $9.25 for each t-shirt and we order about 250. Should we use the same design this year?”

2:11 Jared thinks that we should change the t-shirt because people do not want to buy the same thing twice. Paula also agrees. Ms. Fillion mentions that she had Meseret do the tee-shirt before. Should we brain storm about this?” Jean Luc- “maybe we should draw it on the board.”

2:12 Maria believes that “We should come up with our own motto and keep it.”

2:13 Reggie states “Any other ideas or comments?” Ms. Fillion wants to start by “finding a picture for an animal that would represent us (BLACC).” The officers are suggesting adjectives to put on tee-shirt and other ideas.

2:16 “I love the Latin Kicks motto.” Is said by Maria.

2:17 Anthony shouts that he is bored and says “move on” The people talk back and forth

2:21 Reggie wants to have another meeting for the tee-shirts. Danthuy thinks that it is a good idea. Karyn wants the meeting will be on Wednesday (June 6th)

2:22 Marjoire wants to do walk for cancer and wants more people. Anthony mentions that on June 15 there is going to be WGBH opportunity.

2:23 Ms. Fillion reminds people about another Prison Book problem and we need to make jewelries.

2:24 Danthuy wants to do the jewelry party at her house.

2:25 Reggie wants this meeting to end quickly.

2:27 The old officers wish good luck to new officers

Malika+ Jared- start working on your cheers and have the toga parade organized.

Danthuy- says to Tien to start as soon as possible, get your supplies, and have a theme.

Paula wants Tim to make sure to finish his layouts.

Magnolia says to the reporters to write their articles as soon as possible.

Anthony + Khoi- Start doing the work and do not let it for the next day.

Malika- talks to Daina and Anicka to be creative and have people help you cut things.
