1:56 Meeting called to order by Reginauld Williams
1:57 Questions are asked about the T-shirts. Should we have executive T-shirts or just different colored shirts for officers?
1:58 A point is made that we don’t have enough time to keep making T-shirts for just the officers.
1:59 Another question is raised- Do we keep the old T-shirts or get new ones?
2:00 Ms. Fillion brings up that we need to have BLACC in the yearbook because it is a terrible thing that the club isn’t in the yearbook. And Reggie states that we are the hottest club in the school.
2:01 We decided that we need to vote whether or not we want a T-shirt.
Yes we want a new T-shirt received 11 votes. No we want to keep the same cool T-shirt received 4 votes.
2:02 Brought to the clubs attention that if you want to participate in WGBH you need a T-shirt.
2:03 What concept do we want for the T-shirt. Do we want a motto, a saying, a picture, a pocket emblem?
2:04 We need something new because the old JCL emblem is tired out and boring
2:05 Think to consider a new T-shirt because it is a new beginning. We want to be distinctive but we don’t want it to look like another class T-shirt.
2:06 Ms. Fillion suggests that we have a picture of Tim with a sword (lol)
2:07 Tahisha suggests a shirt with a scroll on the back that starts serious and ends funny. Then Tien suggests a dragon’s head breathing BLACC.
2:08 Ms. Fillion wants to put a wreath around the dragon’s head
2:09 Should their suggestions on our crest or should we just stick to the old one.
2:10 Ms. Fillion suggests diversity and friendship as a motto
Jean-Luc sneezes very loudly we stop to say Bless You.
2:11 We point out a dragon is not that friendly
2:12 Maria suggests diversity and friendship conquers for a motto
In Latin that would say Diversitas Amicitiaque omnia vincit. Then a question is raised should we take out vincit.

2:14 After Diversitas Amicitaique should we put in Semper Ubi, or Sub Ubi?
2:15 We suggest that someone should take away the sword from Tim. Reggie wants to burn it.
2:16 We still go over Diversity and friendship always which translates - Diversitas Amicitiaque Semper.
2:17 Reggie thinks that the motto sounds too foofy and needs to be more like it can get all in yo face wit it.
2:18 Malika is referred to as an order keeper/photographer
2:19 We start coming up with adjectives that describe the club
Summus, Diversi, Amici, Ferocique. Break into a discussion on whether we should put ferocious on the back and keep the nice words on the front.
Liza suggests we put the nice stuff then put ………ferocious
2:20 Do we want to put the nice stuff at the top and Feroci on the bottom?
And do we want it to be in Latin.
2:21 We should make the T-shirt bilingual with both the Latin and English.
2:22 Tahisha reads her scroll idea. Then a question is raised asking if ballin’ is copyrighted.
2:23 So we start brainstorming that we will have the emblem on the front and have the scroll on the back and maybe shorten it.
2:24 We liked the idea of taking the JCL creed and then modifying it in a BLACC way. A point is raised that we should sub ballin’ with something else.
2:25 The scroll will take up the whole back and the front will be subtle while the back is in yo face. The point is that we want to show a new era. CLASSICS!!
2:26 Hear Maria’s example. People think it is too long.

2:28 We discuss that a dragon means we’re fierce yet whether we win or lose we’re still friendly and diverse.
2:29 Ms. Fillion says we don’t go around strutting our stuff. Jared adds that We are humble but we’re loud and we win. We are going for a dynasty.
2:30 Ms. Fillion asks do we want different colors for the T-shirts and Should we have a meeting for next Wednesday?
2:31 Reggie says that we should look over the submissions and then decide.
2:32 Reggie says that next Wednesday we will have a meeting which is June 13 and it will be at 1:50pm.
2:33 Ms. Fillion talks about the motto and the back of the shirt.
2:34 Reggie sums up what we are going to talk about at next weeks meeting.
